FETISHWEEK: How Does the Public Perceive BDSM?

Fifty Shades of Grey continues to top the news, and it seems like it will for the foreseeable future.  The tone of the articles has changed though.  The titillation has worn off and now people are choosing sides.  Lifestyle kinksters wonder if Fifty Shades is helping or hurting the scene (see A changing attitude to fetish or a double standard? below) and Christianity has decided to weigh in (see Why Pastors Should Respond to Fifty Shades of Grey).

Personally, I love the debate.  It’s in the open.  It’s being seriously discussed.  Most importantly, it beats the hell out of BDSM being the relegated to jokes and perceived as the sort of thing only “weirdoes” talk about.
