Fetish Model Apple Angel in “Sizzle” by Photographer Dirk Hooper

This set was one of the sets I shot for the centerfold  of the Summer Edition of Playzom magazine.  As it turns out the second set was used almost exclusively for that edition (more information on the issue and Playzom magazine here).  If you’d like to see the second set, and a great interview with Apple Angel please go pick up your copy of Playzom now.

Apple Angel picked the outfit and did the makeup and hair for this set.  She also brought the sexy for this shoot and you can see that throughout!  She also wore some very cool fantasy contact lenses for this shoot which helps set the mood.

I made a lot of decisions on this set that were guided by my intention to fit the concept of Playzom magazine.  I’ve lit Apple in what I would call “horror lighting”, it’s low and dramatic, but also coupled with glamour filters.  The background was also lit dramatically, but with a pink filter.  I used a very shallow depth of field with my focus too.  Focus drops off quickly in this series which gives this set a feel that is somewhat cinematic. The effect is both stark and sensual.
