Toxic Goddess Burlesque Seeks New Performers

medltoxicboxToxic Goddess Burlesque has a new Creative Director and a new Event Coordinator and is now looking for additional performers to participate in events that are being booked right now.  Toxic Goddess Burlesque is looking for female performers with a unique or edgy style to become a regular member of the troupe.  Interested performers should have the ability to follow simple choreographed numbers, although a dance background is not required.  Performers who offer sideshow, circus style acts or something besides dance are encouraged to apply as well.

Applicants are not required to have a performance piece for the audition, but if you have one, bring music with you.  Aspiring performers will have to be comfortable stripping down to pasties (this is a burlesque troupe).  If you have a resume, please bring that as well.  Toxic Goddess Burlesque is particularly interested in performers who stand out from the crowd or offer something different, so feel free to express yourself!

Open auditions will be held on Sunday, August 16th from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm at the Will Rogers Event Center, 3401 N. Independence Avenue, OKC, Oklahoma.  You do not have to be a model on the Toxic Goddess site to perform in Toxic Goddess Burlesque, although a representative from the site will be available to talk to you about becoming a Toxic Goddess if you are interested.
